Wedding: Tom + Abigail

Date: October 22, 2006
Venue: Thurmans Mansion at The Salt Lick
City: Driftwood, Texas

Nearly all the guests for Tom and Abigail's wedding were from out of state, so they wanted to give their friends a real Texas experience. The Salt Lick Mansion made for the perfect setting. An outdoor wedding overlooking the gateway to the Texas Hill Country, along with delicious Salt Lick BBQ made for a perfect event. Tom can play one mean squeezebox and proved it with the band.

Wedding: Wes + Dawn

Date: October 21, 2006
Venue: ColoVista Country Club
City: Bastrop, Texas

Wes and Dawn couldn't have timed their wedding any better. The ceremony faced a gorgeous sunset on the back lawn of the ColoVista clubhouse overlooking the Colorado River. The fellas started the day with a round of golf and a heated game of cards complete with cigars and beer, while the girls got all dolled up at one of the cottages on the property.

Wedding: Scott + Jill

Date: October 8, 2006
Venue: Star Hill Ranch
City: Austin, Texas

Wooooooooooooo dooooooooooggie! This was a FUN wedding. Scott and Jill live out of state and wanted their guests to have Texas-size fun at their wedding. They succeeded. With a pinata, beer-toting donkeys, a mariachi band, fun guests and an amazing couple, our job was easy. We had a lot of time before the wedding with both the bride and groom, so we were able to take a lot of photos incorporating the theme of wedding. We processed some of the photos as sepita tone to highlight the day's old west theme.

Wedding: Barrett + Heidi

Date: October 7, 2006
Venue: Villa Antonia
City: Jonestown, Texas

Barrett and Heidi's wedding marked the biggest height differential we've ever worked with. They were married on a beautiful fall day atop a bed of roses overlooking a colorful sunset. What more could a photographer ask for?

Engagements: Will + Stacey

Date: September 29, 2006
Venue: East Austin
City: Austin, Texas

Will and Stacey are a fun couple who were looking for an unconventional backdrop for their engagement portraits. We spent the morning in the more colorful parts of town shooting by some railroad tracks and graffiti-lined alleys.
