We shot Amy and Ian's wedding a year and a half ago, and we were excited when they called to let us know they had a little one and wanted some family pictures taken. Baby Stella has stunning blue eyes and two doting parent. What more could a little girl need?

I think this is the first wedding we've shot where more of the guests can Polka than 2-step. The bride's Minnesota family was welcomed to an 80 degree December day here in Austin. Saint Albert the Great has a lot of natural light, making for great (pun intended) photo opportunities. It also meant a lot to the bride and groom that they could be married in their home church. The Father's sermon was one of the best we've heard, prompting tears from the bride, groom, family and my wife, who was shooting the ceremony, as well.

This is the second year we've shot photos for this family. We took our 10-month-old daughter, Georgia, with us to meet the boys. We think she has a crush on the youngest because she couldn't stop talking about him on the way home.

Wedding: Aaron + Krista

We were really excited about Aaron and Krista's wedding for several reasons, but one of the biggest is that we finally get to post Krista's bridals (see next post). The two were absolutely giddy the whole day. The UT grads were especially excited that the tower was lit for graduation, so we made a quick stop for some '06 tower photos at the end of the night. Now Aaron has no excuse for forgetting the year they were married.

We were so excited when Krista wanted to shoot at Mission San Jose. We love shooting new locations and this was definitely a change from the norm for us. It gets hot in San Antonio in August. Really hot. Krista was a trooper and handled the 100+ degree weather with style.
