Engagements: James + Courtney

James and Courtney are just as cute as they can be. A fun couple from A&M, James has been interviewing for jobs around the country. He took a break from the job hunt to get a few photos with his soon-to-be spouse. The two will marry at The Mansion at Judges' Hill next spring.

Wedding: Paul + Sarah

After five years of shooting weddings in Austin, we'd never had the opportunity to shoot at the historic (and, some say, haunted) Driskill Hotel until Paul and Sarah. We were not disappointed. The entire event was first class, from the food to the dancing to the incredible couple the event celebrated. The toasts for this wedding are some of the most sentimental and meaningful I've heard.

Wedding: John + Tasha

John and Tasha are a gorgeous couple who had an equally beautiful candlelight wedding. Stationed with the military in Florida, the couple has lived in and visited many different countries, but chose Austin to marry. Like most of the couples we've worked with, their families were welcoming and appreciative, making what we do even more rewarding. Plus, the bride's father wore a cowboy hat the whole night, so I instantly liked him.

Bridals: Tasha

Tasha is just an all-around awesome gal. The weather was perfect, so we ended up shooting for more than three hours. One of her favorite characteristic of the venue is the ornate pillars, so we spent a lot of time on the balconies and in the front capturing different poses with them. We ended our session near dark in the bar where we took several fun photos of her with an elegant glass of red wine.

Corporate: Fangman Design

Fangman Design, a graphic design company in Austin, handed over their portfolio to us to photograph it. The portfolio is as handsome as it's owner, our buddy Matt.

Wedding: Rob + Melissa

Venue: Lakeway Resort & Spa
City: Austin, Texas

Rob and Melissa have the distinction of being the first couple of be married on the balcony of the new Glass Ballroom at Lakeway Resort & Spa. Rob is a pirate historian who has been interviewed on the History Channel multiple times. To the surprise of his guests, he resisted the urge to wear an eye patch during the ceremony. Melissa was a relaxed and happy bride who grinned from ear to ear all day.
