Trash The Dress

Ok, this was way too much fun. I have been wanting to do a Trash the Dress Session for a while now. I got starting talking to a few girls and it turned into a great group session. The whole idea was not just to destroy the dresses but to create wonderful images in a fun and relaxed way. And end up in the river, of course!

What a fun couple! I got to meet Lisa a few months ago when I photographed a wedding that she was in. We got to chatting back and forth and next thing you know we are all signed up to shoot their wedding next August in Montana. Lisa and Steve live in San Francisco. We were already going to be in area to shoot a wedding (see below) and were delighted to shoot these engagement photos on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Not only are they wonderful models but great tour guides as well, we got to see so much of the city!

We love doing destination weddings. It is so much fun to see new places and work with great people. This wedding in Saratoga California (by San Jose) was a real pleasure. We got to know the bride a little over a year ago when she was a Bridesmaid in one of our Austin weddings. She enjoyed us enough to have us come out to California and photograph her own wedding. I love the dusk shots displayed here, so much fun to work mountains and pine trees into a shot, we don't get a chance to do that very often!
